Gideon Heugh is a poet and environmentalist who lives in Berkshire, England. His first collection of poetry, Devastating Beauty was published in June 2018. His second, Rumours of Light, was published November 2021.

On the season one finale of Unknowing, Brie is joined by Rev.Dr. Jacqui Lewis to discuss her new book "Fierce Love," out November 2021. Together they explore core themes from Rev. Jacqui's new book including braving the Unknowing in love, heartbreak, despair, and finding the courage to let love break through again and again.
Rev. Jacqui Lewis, PHD, is a public theologian and the first Black or female senior minister at the progressive, multicultural Collegiate Church in Manhattan, which dates to 1628. A graduate of Princeton Theological Seminary and Drew University, she is the creator of the MSNBC online show "Just Faith," and the PBS show "Faith and Justice." Called "the most intriguing African American Buddhist" by Library Journal , Rev.angel Kyodo williams is a leading prophetic voice for the Unknowing times we are in. She has been bridging the worlds of transformation and justice since her critically acclaimed book, "Being Black: Zen and the Art of Living With Fearlessness and Grace," which was hailed as "an act of love" by Pulitzer Prize winner Alice Walker, and "a classic" by Buddhist pioneer Jack Kornfield.
Her work, "Radical Dharma: Talking Race, Love & Liberation," is igniting communities to have conversations necessary to become more awake and aware of what hinders liberation of self and society. Rev.angel applies wisdom teachings, embodied practice, and is a leading voice for transformative social change. Over the course of 20 yrs, Kasia Urbaniak was a professional Dominatrix and practiced Taoist alchemy at one of the oldest female led monasteries in China, and went on to receive dozens of certifications including medical Qi Gong and systemic constellations before founding The Academy in 2013, where she helps thousands of women un-know the limiting stories and beliefs that keep so many of us bound.
In EP012, Brie is joined by Kasia Urbaniak to discuss the nuanced and relational dynamics of power, how to alchemize big emotions into creative ends, and how to de-stigmatize desire as we learn to become more comfortable with un-knowing and choose instead to follow life-force moment by moment.
